During a time of exciting changes at AG, there has been plenty of individual career progression. We focus on our Key Accounts and Project Sales Manager, David Speirs and how his career has developed within AG.
David Speirs began his career at the company 10 years ago as a General Operative at AG's Magherafelt Plant. After trying his hand at sales in Outside Room Centres, David moved on to the commercial side of the business where he has thrived serving local construction companies. This April, David has embarked on a new challenge moving into the Business Development team and taking a new position, working with many large construction companies in the UK.
David believes his new role is unique – and reflects the investment AG makes in building strong and sustainable relationships with its business partners.
“As a business, we are known for our agility, our responsiveness and the ease with which people can do business with us. Our goal with any customer is to add genuine value and to make life easier for them. I believe having a ‘go-to’ person at AG for our large local construction companies will be a real value-add and help to them as they compete for and deliver projects large and small in Britain.
“In keeping with our company way of doing things, my approach is all about providing the personal touch, helping our customers overcome obstacles and giving them excellent levels of customer service.”
